PC gets Sign Out when login from Remote Desktop App

Hi there,

I'm using Windows 10 & Windows 10 Mobile. Both connected to my hotmail id.

I tried "Remote Desktop" app on my mobile. Entered IP address, and my hotmail id & password to connect to my PC.

I can access my PC with my mobile but as soon as I login using my mobile, my PC gets sign out.

I don't want to sign out my PC when I do remote login via my Mobile.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks

Yogesh

A computer acting as a remote desktop server must sign off any local users before allowing the remote client to login. The remote user must sign out of their session to allow a local user to log in.

This has always been the nature of remote desktop on a Windows pc. The design is one user per pc at a time.

You have got remote desktop working as it is designed to work on a single pc.

Server versions of Windows can create virtual pc's One virtual pc for each remote desktop client. You don't have a Windows server.

Hope that doesn't confuse you... think of it as only one user at a time per pc. A remote desktop login becomes the one user on the pc until they log out.

Cheers,

Ian

Okay. Thanks.

But I can remote login with local ip only. When I tried my public id I couldn't connect.

Also I tried my PC name. No success.

Assuming the pc is behind a router, it doesn't have a public ip.

Okay. But any other way?. If I'm using both Mobi and PC with same MS account then there should be a way.

If there isn't then you can clsoe this thread.

This website is extremely laggy. Typing into the text box is brutally slow.

apologies for the screenshot, my phone froze while typing the message above. I quickly grabbed a screenshot before Edge locked up completely.
