You could face this issue due to wrong power settings or if the Battery driver is corrupt. Please write to us with the following detail.
1) What is make and model of your computer?
2) Did you make any changes to the Power options in your computer prior to this issue?
Try to remove the battery from the back of your laptop and then reinsert it. When your laptop battery is dead or when your laptop power supply does not provide right power, this can happen. Please consider replacing the battery or the power adapter for your

Method 1: Run Power Troubleshooter.
Follow these steps to run power troubleshooter.

Press Windows key + W and type
troubleshooting.

Select Troubleshooting.

Select view all on the top left corner.

Run Power troubleshooter.
Check for the issue and move to the next methods if it still exists
Method 2: Uninstall and reinstall the Battery Drivers.
Follow the steps given below to uninstall and reinstall the battery driver.

Press Windows Key + X Key, Click on
Device Manager.

Expand Microsoft AC batteries.

Right Click and select
Uninstall.
