I'm having the same problem but so far I have not figured out how to resolve this. And yes I have tried to follow the steps.

Something that may be of note. I believe there is an update available for the Store App but that also got the same error. Now it's not showing up as an option to install.

Hi Patel,

I would suggest you to turn off or disable the Internet security program and check if it helps. and also you can try to create a new user account and check.

Please refer to the below suggestions to create a new user account:

  1. Click start.
  2. Select Control panel.
  3. Select user account.
  4. Select Manage another account and follow the onscreen instructions to create a new account.

When you disable Antivirus:

Important Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Hope this information helps, please reply if you still need any assistance.

I have the same problem and it happens if you are signing on windows NOT their way. I mean you are using a local account to login to Windows 10 and using your Microsoft Account to access the store.

In my test machines and including one in Vbox, you can only install apps from the store if you are logging onto your machine using a Microsoft Account (or you enable sync everywhere).
