Hi Choo,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

In case you are unable to login to the system with the Microsoft Account, I would suggest you to refer to the following link:

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-live/id-support

On the other hand, there is a possibility that your Microsoft account has been compromised—or hacked—it means that someone has stolen your password and might be using your account to access your personal info or send spam. We can help you recover your account, and help prevent it from being hacked again. Refer to the following article:

Get back into your Microsoft account if it's been blocked or hacked

Hope this information is helpful. If the issue still persists, please post back for further assistance, we'll be glad to assist you.

Regards,

Harkanwar

Hi,

I would suggest you to press the Shift key and hold the power button so that it will go to the recovery options. From there create a local user account with administrator privileges. Once you create a local user account with admin privileges you can delete the existing Microsoft account and then convert the existing local user account to Microsoft account.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any other issues with Windows in future.

Dear Mr.vijay,

I'm using a pro book hp laptop and holding the shift and power button has not helped. I'm still stuck trying to figure out how to switch from other user to log in into windows 10. I even changed my Microsoft hotmail password.
