Windows 10 windows' borders are too thin!!

Hi,

Is anyone annoyed that the borders of windows are too small? I must say I liked the large thickness of the borders in Windows 8 compared to all previous versions of Windows to make resizing less frustrating.

I confess that for the upper left, and bottom corners it is not so bad because the cursor changes when you are relatively away from the window (about 10 pixels). But it is almost impossible to resize from the upper right corner because of the close button.

Thanks,

Manu

I actually love that the borders are so thin, but I hate that the upper one is thick...

Completely useless to use that much space between close button and the window itself, also the if you click on the speaker it looks ugly with that border on top of it.

I have to say I like the border padding thin I used to set mine to 1 from the default 3 in windows 8, there are apps out there that will allow you to change the border padding to any size you want...

just to name one  TinyWindowsBorders app by winaero :) this also works on windows 10 TP

Yes, absolutely this should change. It is especially troublesome if you work with Excel and overlapping windows; hard to find the border among the gridlines.

I honestly believe that if the borders are going to be this small, they shouldn't exist :D. It's kind of odd having a couple of pixels for a border and I wish there was a way to turn them off.

Hmmm not sure I agree; just opened 5+ Excel windows (workbooks) and all are clearly distinct from the others. I used Excel 2013 FWIW.

I agree I like it like this, I have always hated the thick borders around windows. They should make the top bar thinner to match.

Thin boarders are great, it makes the OS seem a little less "heavy" love the thin boarders here.

I love the thin borders too. Now if they only made the titlebar translucent it would make the whole experience so nice. (Check out the thin borders and beautiful titlebar in this thread http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_tp-desktop/strongly-suggest-windows-10-brings-back-aero-glass/fbee00eb-83e1-41f4-887c-820c4fa37115 )

It's a modernized and very subdued evolution of Win7. Somehow I doubt Microsoft would do this. They seem married to the idea of bringing back the retro Windows 3.0 look as much as possible.

Yes, i also liked the thick borders in Windows 8.1. It would be very good for Microsoft to get them back.
