Same as ShubhamGupta1998.

Tried to connect to two computers - Win7 and Win81.

"Enable USB data" option is there and available it does "change color" on tapping, but nothing happens.

MS Lumia 640 XL Dual SIM; HW revision 2.4.0.0; Win 10.0.12562.84;

It was working with WinPhone81.

I have exactly the same issue. Trying to upgrade to latest phone build, but phone not visible from OS. Enable USB Data button 'clicks' but nothing happens - PC can't see the phone, so neither can the Recovery Tool to rollback to 8.1

Tried on a Win10TP and Win8.1 desktop.. and have done a full phone reset  - nothing changes.

I am able to access files, transfer data etc.,

But , when i try to access windows phone via Visual studio 2013 (windows phone registration) , system is unable to detect my device.

Note : I tried restarting the IPoverusbsvc as well but didnt help.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I too was having this issue after upgraded to Win10 and using Visual Studio Community 2013.

My Nokia Lumina 928W was working fine for developing/testing Cocos2d-x games.

But then later that day I would get the VS 2013 deployment error stating that the phone could not be detected so my app could not be deployed.

When I would plug the device into USB, Win10 would pop-up and ask me what I wanted to do. I could browse the phone in explorer. But VS 2013 could not see it for some reason.

The solution to fix this issue for me was to uninstall the driver and then re-connect the phone.

To uninstall the driver, with the phone connected, click on the up facing chevron in the task tray, click the icon that looks like a USB with a green check mark to "safely remove hardware" choose Open Devices and Printers, then right-click on your phone and choose remove device. Then unplug and plug the phone back in.

After that I was able to deploy my game to my Nokia Lumina 928 without issue.

Here is where I found this solution: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/30292782/windows-phone-deploy-issue/30303946#30303946

Hi I'm having the same issue with my Lumia 1020. I've tried uninstalling the drivers and I've even uninstalled the recovery program nothing works but when I connect my android to my pc it recognizes it instantly.
