Question

Q: Your security settings need attention to get Insider Preview Builds This thread is locked from future replies

Hi,

I have the above message and there is an option to Fix this issue.... So I click on it and restart now.... but the issue is still there after the update.

I am logging onto laptop using my outlook account as registered to be on the insider program and have been on it since Jan 2015.

The only change is I have done a reset to clean everything up.

I fixed it! So... I'm not sure exactly what did it, but I stopped Insider builds permanently, rebooted, then went into the registry to change the value manually back to 1. Then when I went to enable builds in Settings, it asked me to log in to my MS account, which I did, and now I'm downloading 11082!

Did this solve your problem?

Sorry this didn't help.

Do you know about the Snipping Tool?  It is in Windows Accessories on your All Apps menu.  Click START, click ALL APPS and scroll down to Windows Accessories and click the down arrow at the right.  That is what we are all using to post the Regedit pictures.
