• fbl_impressive Professional 10130 - Error 0x80246017

While I had no problem installing this build on my Surface Pro 3. I get this message on my PC so it will not let me update. Does anyone have a work around? So far I have run deep disk clean removing old installs and systems, updated all I could, just this update that will not download.

UPDATE -  resetting computer does not help. Same problem shows up.

Power down computer.

Wait 10 minutes.

Start computer.

Setup will automatically restore your previous Windows 10 build or previous version of Windows.

Launch command prompt with administrator privileges.

Press Windows key + X

Click Command Prompt (Admin)

Type the following command:

rundll32.exe pnpclean.dll,RunDLL_PnpClean /DRIVERS /MAXCLEAN

Hit Enter on your keyboard

Exit command prompt

Restart

Try updating again.

Same problem here.

I did the diskcleanup step and the pnpclean on the command line, when I restart the computer and run the update again, it downloads and schedules a restart.  I restart the computer, but nothing happens, it only boots up normally.

BTW, I had the same problem with 10122.  I am still running 10074 on a surface pro 3

Hi. Sadly this command did not change anything problem still the same. So then I did a complete reset, kept nothing. The usual updates loaded no problem the system update to 10130 fails again with exactly the same message. its like the second it contacts the download server, it instantly gives the fail message.

i try this but it cant fix...the problem continues from update to 10122 until this update on my notebook...hope u can help
