Build 14291 will not install

I haven't seen this one yet so I'll throw this out there

when trying to update to the latest build 14291, my desktop will start the update but during the 1st restart the screen will just begin to flash black and white until I restart the computer (restart, not power down). Once I restart the system rolls me back to the last build. I've included the latest dxdiag below for system specs (homebrew AMD rig)..any advice? Or just posting a new bug...have a good day

Specs on the computer are as follows:

2 issues i run into when doing method 2:

  1. Not as much an issue as a question: typing the commend net stop msiserver, results in being told the service wasn't running to begin with. Is than an issue?
  2. Trying to rename SoftwareDistribution i get the Access is denied. message. (I am running from an elevated state :))

Just a short suggestion to optimize your guide. You don't neeed to restart the services, if the next thing you are going to do, is restart the device. The services will automatically restart during a restart :)

Thank you!!  that's exactly what it was.  I unplugged my xbox controller, and the install went without a hitch. Just make sure you don't plug it back in after the install is finished or your moniter will go blank and flash at you

Can't keep anything because it says Windows might be installed on a unsupported directory?

One thing is I have moved the location of several folders to another drive; Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Favorites, Links, Music, Pictures, and Videos.

Hasn't caused a problem in past insiders builds.
