Pentium 4 HT should be supporeted in Windows 10 x64

It would be nice if Windows 10 supports Intel Pentium 4 640 3.2GHz.  Currently, Windows 10 tech preview x64 doesn't support Pentium 4 640 3.2GHz. It is x64 and runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit well. It is Hyper-thread Compatible, supports Intel Speed-Step Technology. It has SSE3.

This is likely because your processor does not support certain enhancements required by Windows 10:

plus there is a ton of old components running in those old P4 systems that wouldn't be compatible even if the CPU was.

did you enable NX or XD in the BIOS, check there, some system Mfg. simply didn't bother to add the entry to the BIOS as P-4 was long before any OS that demand NX or XD, if there is no setting in the BIOS to enable / disable NX or XD then the BIOS and motherboard simply don't support that function of the processor
I find the lack of configuration options disturbing !

could be something in the BIOS that's not correct, not all BIOS are equal.
some systems have errors in the BIOS that don't generally cause problems until a specific scenario is presented.

Intel Pentium 4 640 ha NX bit, SSE 1,2, and 3, and it has PAE. I used "Intel® Processor Identification Utility" to find this information. The cpu is x64.

It does not have  LAHF/SAHF instruction, required in Windows 8.1 and 10 x64 versions.
