Complete list of Redstone 5 Insider builds released after the April 2018 Update, how to check what build is currently installed and Best new feature

The most recent and last RS5 Windows Insider Fast Ring build number is now at 17763

Microsoft released the October 2018 update to the public on 10/02/18

Note that the "Version" number is now at 1809. This would indicate that Microsoft is planning to finalize the Redstone 5 builds sometime in late September of 2018 and would have a possible release to the general public at the end of September or early October.

With Build 17763 only two known issues remain:

Task Manager is not reporting accurate CPU usage.

Arrows to expand “Background processes” in Task Manager are blinking constantly and weirdly.

The best new feature in 17763: None, just bug fixes.

Note: The build watermark at the lower right-hand corner of the desktop is no longer present in this build. This does not mean this is the final build as we are not done yet. We’re just now beginning the phase of checking in final code to prepare for the final release.

The expiration dates for Windows 10 Insider builds may vary by the build number.

The table below summarizes the expiration dates for each of the builds released to date for Redstone 5.
