I have a sata disk reader on my esata port. Windows 10 has not recognized it since the beginning. I am presently on build 10074.
I can take a disk that reads fine on my usb reader and put it in the esata device and I get nothing. The device is not even shown in the device manager.
If I run the hub as a usb device, it works perfectly. I prefer esata because of increased data rates.
Is esata supported in Windows 10? Could it be that my old device doesn't have a proper esata driver?
P5B mobo, Intel Core 2 6600 @ 2.4Ghz. 89gb ram. 1 2.0TB & 1 3.0TB drives.
The device (BlacX dual hub) worked fine via esata in Windows 7.
Thanks!
