This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer.

I have two items listed in the Multimedia Device section and I tried to remove them. But I can not and I receive the message: "This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer ... (blah blah blah)". I even tried to remove the item when not connected to the network. I still received the same message. What can I do to remove them?

Ah, I got it. I actually had to go into the Device Manger -> View -> Show Hidden Devices. The search the list for LANPC2:kevin which pointed to the media streaming device. It was found in the "Software Devices" section. The I right click on "uninstall" which remove it. Whew, always something.
