I have a registration key number for driver updates but don't understand

how and where do I enter the registration key for the driver support I just bought. it says file is empty

What is this program?

To help you you must give more information.  Name of program, where did you buy it, why did you buy it, are you having troubles with drivers in Windows 10?

Almost all drivers are readily available online for free, so you may have made a poor purchase choice. If you can reverse the charge and get a full refund, you should look into that.

Windows 10 will normally find the drivers it needs automatically. For very old hardware it may take some online searching, but it is not usually too hard to find any needed drivers.
