usoclient popup

Everytime I start my computer and log in to my account, within about 5 minutes I get a command window popup and then dismiss. It has been doing this for about a month but today is the first time I caught the application name in the title bar. It's usoclient.exe

From my reading around it looks like this is something to do with a system update but my updates are all complete and this ALWAYS shows up. How can I make it stop?

Nope. Not listed in there. But its a system process as far as I understand so getting rid of the app is probably not a good idea. I suspect its a scheduled task or registry entry or something similar but I cant find any information to help me

I confirmed task schedule there is schedule retry scan.

and the setting caused this program will run every time when the OS start.

But it was not default setting. there should be schedule scan only, that related USOclient.exe.

I have no idea what cause the schedule retry scan item added automatically.

There doesn't seem to be anyone answering this question! I'm getting the same thing on one of my Windows 10 setups.

Hey, you Microsoft people, why are you guys not answering this question -- it's very unnerving having a terminal window constantly coming up!

What is usoclient.exe?

And why is it always being executed about 5 minutes after system startup???
