PDF Tool bar is not displayed in Edge

Hello,

The tool bar which is displayed on top of a pdf file (for example as in IE, FF) is not displayed when opening a pdf file in Edge (Windows 10 pro, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version 2015.008.20082).

This is probably because of the Arobat reader DC plug ins which are not supported anymore in Edge.

As a result a pdf file can not be printed for example.

Is there a way or a workaround to solve this issue in order to display it?

Thank you very much.

Kind regards,

Eran Maor

Hi,

Welcome to Microsoft Community. Please use the print function embedded in Edge and check if it helps. Click on the three dots(Top Right Corner) and click on Print.

Hope this helps.

We have the same problem.  We embed PDF's in a manual system where a HTML based table of contents is on the left.  Thus printing shows the toc and no PDF.  We need the print PDF feature back.

I'm having the same problem, I have to read print PDF for work and this is a pain. I about to revert back to Windows 7.

Microsoft Edge is a pain, not very impress with Windows 10 so far.

I have the same issue.  A work around is to select the three dots, click open in Internet Explorer.  Would still rather have the Reader plug in work properly in Edge....

The toolbar is an integral part of Adobe PDF files,  are you saying that MS isn't support PDF files anymore ?

If this is not the case, how then do we open the PDF file for Form filling, Signing etc when it's embedded by something like SharePoint.

Steve Jobs called Adobe an extraordinarily lazy company!  This new DC version is astoundingly stupid and designed solely to increase cash flow.   Combine MS with Adobe and what can you expect!  Please let me know when an answer is found.  Adobe also won't let you re-install the last "normal" version.

I also have this problem with an embedded PDF for software we have. I have been advising clients to right-click and do a Save As to save the PDF to their desktop. They can then print the PDF from the downloaded copy. This is an extra step, but it's a work around...hopefully they will have this issue fixed soon!
