How to Block Websites on Microsoft Edge

Here is my problem. I have a addiction, I been sticking myself by blocking sites to sites I usually go to. At my point now I don't want ANYTHING that is tempting. I was able to block any sites from apps off of Firefox and Chrome but Internet Explore doesn't seem to have this luxury. I removed it from my desktop but cant delete it, so the only why I get on is through "iexplore" app. However, after getting the windows 10 update I notice there is Microsoft Edge and there is no way I can block sites from there or delete it. So I'm asking...

"How can I block websites on Microsoft Edge?" or "How can I hide the program from being viewed on my computer but still functioning?" Please Help me.. I been failing to get over this addiction.

(this question can apply to Explore or Edge)

Sorry nothing is helpful. I'm trying to block websites or hide the program but not delete it. I would like to remove it but I heard it is playing some important roll in my windows system so I can't.

I commend you that you want to stop.  You might want to have somebody else install a porn blocker for you.  http://how-to-block-websites.com.  They are inexpensive and very effective.

Not helpful at all. It looks like such feature is not part of Edge. I sent a feedback about this using the "more actions" menu.

Will site blocking become available in a future update to Edge, please ? It's a real nuisance these days. A simple right click on an unwanted website to give an option to block it, would be so useful, rather than having to purchase a different ad blocker s/w, which might disable MS Defender. Many thanks Microsoft.

This is slightly helpful thanks. I wanted to have more control in blocking and allowing individual websites. I was able to do this using internet explorer, I was able to block or allow individual websites. Microsoft Edge is basically a clone of Google Chrome. I don't want automatic filtering, I want to be able to filter myself, so I'll ignore Edge just like I've always ignored Chrome
