windows installation media creation tool

the downloading of file is not going beyond 0% and i has been 6 hrs.

what should i do?

i am not able to reset my pc.

I used Media Creation Tool this week on 14393 without issue and got W10 on a stick. I am not clear whether you have 2 issues, one where you cannot reset W10 and you feel you need the Media Creation Tool to fix it.

However, a Recovery (reset) does not require anything extra. Recovery deletes apps and settings and gives you the option to keep your files. The W10 re-install is done from within.

I encountered a14393 that would not install Office 2016 and even Microsoft could not fix it. Recovery fixed the issue and Office 2016 installed normal this time. All personal data was retained. I did not need W10 on a stick.

Which version/build are you trying to upgrade? as for your system do a hard reset ( hold the power button in until system turns off ) reboot it should come back up as the last version that you had, before upgrading remove ( using the tools supplied by the maker of the software ) any 3rd party virus/malware programs, also remove anything except KB/Mouse that is plugged into a USB, you also can use the Windows 10 media creation tool from this link H E R E

Actually the problem is that i want to reset my pc delete everything but when tried to reset it the pc popped a message showing couldn't find the recovery environment.

When i downloaded media creation tool the downloading didn't went through it has stopped to 0℅ and didn't increased from 0℅to any where.

What should i do now???
