Windows 11 Fingerprint Issues

After the Win 10 21390 build and subsequently the Win 11 update in the dev channel,I am not able to unlock my laptop with my fingerprint as the option for fingerprint in the lock screen has disappeared. However prior to this update I have been using my fingerprint to unlock my laptop and it was working. Now after this update it doesn't seem to work . I am able to add and remove fingerprints but I am not able to sign in with it i.e it works as long as you don't restart or shutdown or make it to go to sleep. But after restarting or shutting down the fingerprint icon disappears from the lock screen and I am not able to sign in with my fingerprints.

Any help on this issue would be of great value.

I have tried uninstalling the drivers and again reinstalling a lot of times but nothing has changed.I have even tried to reset the pin and register my fingerprints again, but if I restart my laptop i will not be able to sign in with my fingerprint and the only options are pin and password.I have the latest fingerprint driver installed.I have attached the screenshots here.

I have the same Elan biometric unit built into my touchpad and it also does not work, even with the ol uninstall, reinstall trick. Its kind of disappointing, since I paid an extra $300 to get the model with the scanner built-in. It will get fixed eventually, but who know how long until they roll an update for the preview. It will work after it installs again, but after a reboot it wont work again.

UPDATE: Ok so apparently installing the driver from the manufacturer worked even though its the same driver. I just went to Gigabyte installed their version and scanned my fingers and now it works after a reboot.

I have tried reinstalling the drivers from the website several times but to no avail. And the problem doesn't seem to be with the driver because I am able to register new fingerprints but the option doesn't seem to be present in the lock screen in windows 11 after a restart or a shutdown.

which brand chip is embedded in your infinix X1 Pro fingerprint device.
