Windows 10 needs Resolution 1366x768

Resolution is controlled on each individual computer's video, not by the operating system. Win 10 just needs the minimum resolution. Anything more than the minimum is fine. The minimum is at least 1024 x 768 so 1366 x 768 is fine.

• To access the Windows Store and to download and run apps, you need an Internet connection, a screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768, and a Microsoft account.

1024x768 is required for Modern Apps to dispaly and 1366x768 is required for the Split Screen functions,

To understand why these resolutions are used, you need to go back to when Windows 8 was being developed.

This is the same resolution that was a requirement for Windows 8x.

There is a very good article written by the Microsoft developers that explains, in detail, why they chose this minimum resolution.

Well, according to StatCounter, everywhere.

My laptop is working fine running Win 10 at 1366x768. 

There are two requirements to obtain a 1366x768 resolution in Win 10 (or any other OS):

1. Your monitor should support that resolution and it should be (preferably) the native resolution for the monitor in question. Any other resolution (than native) may result in a shrunken and/or distorted display.

2. Your graphics arrangement must support the desired resolution. Some older graphics arrangements do not support this resolution; however, most newer rigs can easily accommodate 1366x768.

In summary, if you do not have that option available in your drop-down menu and/or it is not the recommended resolution, one or both of the above requirements have not been met.

okay, para obtener esa resolución a la fuerza, debes hacer los siguientes pasos, a mi me funciono perfectamente, te lo recomiendo al 100%

1. actualiza los drivers de gráficos - Video de tu laptop.

2. ve al menu inicio y buscas "Regedit, ábrelo. 

3. presiona Ctrl + F3 para buscar lo siguiente: "Display1_DownScalling"

4. modifca el valor de la entrada de: "0" ---> "1"

5. Guarda/Save y reinicia.

6. Listo, disfruta de la resolución forzada.
