So, is this a battery issue, issue of connectors or some driver bug?

So this thing started happening recently when battery wont charge, but the time remaining is shown in this manner when the charger is plugged in. Is this a cause of concern?

Additional information about the system:

Dell Precision 7530, barely an year old. The laptop is able to boot up on battery power i.e when the charger is not connected to the system.

Well, I am on Windows 10 insider setup. Build number is : 19043.1110.

Last few updates installed are update numbers: KB5004945 and KB5004237

These are things I have already tried:

  • Disconnecting power supply and battery, nullifying any residual charge in the system via power key, and plugging back everything.

  • Bios update.

  • Battery driver uninstall and re install

  • Power troubleshooter.

Also, if the time demands, here is the battery report as generated by the system:

It is an HtmL file, so probably you need to download it before reading.

Also, checking under BIOS settings via the One time boot menu shows AC adapter not plugged in even when it is connected to the device.
