Real time scanning by Mcafee stopped after new Windows 10 update of 6th July 2017

After today's Windows 10 upgrade, my Mcafee real time scanning has stopped. The button to switch it on is apparently disabled.

Funnily Windows is also saying Mcafee is disabled but I can not reactivate real time scanning of Mcafee from there too.

This version of Windows has built in antivirus as per their update, however their security center said, I am using 3rd party antivirus (Mcafee) which is disabled. Can someone guide how to reactivate the real time protection thru Mcafee

Go to McAfee and get the uninstalling tool and get rid the extra code that is still on your computer.
Then Windows Defender and MalwareBytes are all you need if you watch where you go and what is being downloaded.
