Home Wi-Fi Access Point here.   802.11 AC Broadcom card shows as Dell 1550 in device manager even though this is a Lenovo laptop :)  Working so good, perfect couldn't ask for better with a new go fast archer c3200 router.. then suddenly I experimented.

The first location to enable it disappeared when it broke my Wi-Fi connection... so I couldn't turn it off !

But Its also here;;; and showing as OFF while the other was invisible while I had no connection, scratching my head - my ip changed +1 number when I did get it working so I think it screws with the MAC address.   IP changed back to its original numbers after I turned it off and restarted.   I didn't get a chance to look at the old/new mac if it did change and would kind of like to know exactly what it does before playing with it again.

I also have this feature available, although I am using Windows 10 RTM (10240). Intel Wireless AC adapter, domain-joined Lenovo laptop.

I have not done anything with the setting, but I wanted to report that I am also seeing the setting, and it is not a new feature in 10576. It exists in 10240 as well, with some specific hardware requirements.

I don't like it.

I think the reason most of us are not seeing this is that you are on a domain where we are not.

I'm not actually on a domain but win10 ipconfig shows as if it were.

Using Broadcom AC Wi-Fi now, but had used Intel's AC & aN cards in recent past.  Lenovo Laptop.

Looks like the domain name is derived from the Verizon branded Actiontec DSL modem/router.
