Strange bug or something because it only downloads 7% before installing, then gives the install error at 100%. Same error and process if I try to install a beta build. Formatted c drive. Seems to install ok after that.

Won't Install fails with Install error - 0x800f0911.
Which Build are you updating from?
I did one from 22621.169 to 22621.232 without any problem.
Then a second machine from 22621.1 to 22621.232 got stuck on downloading 7% for quite some time and then had to hit install all twice to get it moving. Now it is waiting for a restart.
I may wait till KB890830 is done before I try to restart.
This one too completed fine without errors.

Don't know about the rest of you guys, but for me, Windows 11 cumulative updates have always stayed on 7%, in downloading, for quite some time. However, if you pay attention to the HDD light, you'll see that it's busy doing something. And then, it picks up after that, completes the download, and the installation after that.
Windows 10 had similar quirks. The download was more straightforward. But then the installation process would stay on 20% for a long time, then it jumped to 44%, then on from there. If you could get to 45%, in my experience with Windows 10, it was a good sign.
Just takes some patience. For me, the cumulative update process takes roughly 30 minutes, if you just let it do its thing. Of course, this assumes no annoying and uninformative error message comes up.
(I did get some kind of warning message, I think something about Windows Update, flash up and disappear today, after the 22621.232 installation had completed. It went by too fast for me to figure out what it was. On the bottom right of the screen, partially behind some other open window. Hope it's not a problem.)
