How to leave windows insider program?

By choosing Slow Ring you are still on an Insider build.

Slow Ring should be done by Oct., so you could just

hold out til then. You could also move to Release ring.

If your build number is 189xx then you have preview of 20H1 which will be released to public in spring 2020 and then you can opt-out and stay that version.

Only way to go back to released version (v1903) is backup all your personal data and do clean install and install all your apps from scratch, unless you have disk image of your HDD/SSD taken before joining Insider Program.

Yes, that will opt-out when next major release is installed, but you have to wait few months.

You have preview of development branch 20H1 and next major public release for that branch is in spring 2020. Read my first reply.

I have joined the insider preview for win10. Now there is a stable 1903 update, I want to leave insider preview but not able to leave !! how to do it ? without reinstalling or losing all installed programs and files?  I have put it on slow but updates are coming regularly. I really want to leave  i have some issues also with some software due to insider preview!

You cannot completely leave the WIP without reinstalling.

You are caught in the middle right now, because it shows you

on Slow Ring and 20H1 branch has NO Slow Ring right now.

This would be why your build is stuck on 18912.

As Roger said, you need to do a clean install and go back to

18362, the Public Release.

Go to Settings >> Update Settings >> Windows Insider Program >> Stop Insider Build
