Hi Jonard

InstantGO is a hardware feature that is installed and implemented by the Computer Manufacturer.

You can check if InstantGO is available on your computer.

1. Right Click the Start button and select Command Prompt (Admin).

2. Type the following command.

powercfg /a

Press Enter.

If the results show that Standby <Connected> is available, then you do have InstantGO on the computer.

If it shows:

Standby <Connected>

The system firmware does not support this standby state.

Then InstantGO is not supported on the computer.

S3   regular sleep in ram.   No instantGo,   plain old sleep.. everything powered off except holding voltage on Ram.

You're quite lucky your S3 works - my computer hasn't slept since last year.

Hi

If the command does not show Standby <Connected> then you do not have InstantGO.

Get Free Alarm Clock.

It will wake the PC to sound the alarms you set and, it's free. No adware, no crapware, just a nice little clock you can set up multiple alarms on.

I do agree though. It's pretty dumb there's no built in alarm clock. All the pieces are there.
