Dxdiag shows DirectX 12 Ultimate as Disabled. How to enable?

In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the Windows 10 Version and Build installed? (Type winver in Windows search/Run command)

• What is the make and model of the PC/motherboard?

• Do you have any dedicated graphics card?

• Are you aware of any changes on the PC prior to this issue?

You might consider upgrading your hardware. You might also need to turn on graphics acceleration. Refer to the below links for details on the same and check if this helps -

DirectX Ultimate may not be supported by your gfx chipset.

I have MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti as gfx card and DirectX Ultimate is disabled in Dxdiag diagnostic tool, either.

I checked "Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling" in Settings > System > Display > Graphics > Change Default Graphics Settings and it was already turned on, but it was of no help, either.

I'm also having same issue.. This happened when I updated my nvidea drivers

I have an NVidia GTX 1650 and have the same issue. Shows disabled in DiaxTool.

Have rebuilt my system drivers and firmware on the motherboard, video card and all other peripherals.

I have gtx 1660 super directx 12 is still not enabled.I also keep updating the dxdiag driver.

So I did a lil search and realized that direct x ultimate is supported by only nvidea rtx cards and some latest amd video cards

intel uhd doesn't support direct x 12 ultimate. this direct x only support for RTX series 20/30

only for rtx series

Everyone who does not have an RTX graphics card will not show DX 12 Ulitmate enabled. You must have an RTX GPU.

Okay so I have an RTX 2060 TI and its disabled. How would I enable it?
