Hi Johnny, please forgive my ignorance but is this normal procedure?

I mean, shouldn't this CU apply to both RPR and Slow at the same time?

The reason I'm asking is because I checked my Slow ring 18362.175 and I'm not getting it. It seems backwards that RPR gets a CU before the Slow ring or maybe I'm having a...

I would have to agree with you on that. Setting up one of my vm's with Slow right now to check.

Seems to me this happened with a previous CU but it was not intended, something on MS end.

Edit: Confirmed Roger, nothing coming down on Slow, changed it to RP and CU is coming in. Actually thinking about it, this is what RP ring was for, to test CU before they go public. Now we have a dead Slow Ring. (love the pic, lol)

Could it be possible we might see a 19H2 build for Slow ring very soon. Curious minds would like to know.

That was my first thought but still, Slow always gets updated before RPR thus my question.

Indeed, we now have an outdated Slow Ring. Shhh..., I "borrowed" it from Google

Thanks for the confirmation.

Picked up this C.U. today thanks Johnny. straightforward install no problems.

Just in view update history, the entry for KB4501375 is grey with no clickable link like all the others.

Now that is interesting. I am showing the same result in one vm that I did use WU on. The other offline vm I had manually installed the 2 updates via cab files so it is not listed under Settings, Updates but shows in Control Panel (KB4501375 and KB4506933).

Hi Roger,

Yes I did notice that last night with the Feature Update on dump. As I dl the CU first, then the Feature which showed up later in the evening. The rest of the files were identical.

Strange thing though, I could not manually install 2 of those cab files, the other 3 installed without issue. That had me wondering what they are for. Can't recall the errors I was getting but never seen them before. I did install the SSU update first kb4506933.

The clean install of the Feature ISO was trouble free.

This is getting messy, we cannot test if we don't know what to test. We're totally in the dark...

They need to tell us what to do regarding rings and what these CUs are for.
