Hi there,
Just found a easily reproducible bug that, as I now discover, exists in all Windows versions. If the task manager on the user tab is left open on a disconnected remote desktop session, reconnecting to the session after more users have logged in will result in the task manager not showing theses users. Even though performance statistics of the users in the list are updated, one can only see all the users after restarting the task manager.
Steps to reproduce:
-Log in via remote desktop.
-Open task manager.
-Go to the users tab. Note the amount of logged in users.
-Disconnect your session.
-Open one or more new sessions under different user accounts. For example users of a terminal server.
-Reconnect to your old session with the task manager open.
-Although the task manager is updating, it will only show you the previously noted amount of users!
-Restart the task manager to see the actually live amount of users.
I come across this bug often as I reconnect to old sessions on terminal servers to check out if users are logged in or if I can start maintenance. As this issues appears still in Windows 10 I have managed to find the time to report it. I only hope I have the correct channel for this bug report as I could find no easily accessible bug report procedure.
Kind regards,
