18252 Blurry Lock Screen Photos

With build 18252, my lock screen background photos first appear crystal clear, then immediately become blurry as if behind fogged glass. This happens with both Windows Spotlight photos and with background photos I choose myself, and doesn't appear to be related to picture resolution. Anyone else seeing this?

That's an actual feature they introduced on SA build 18237 to which a lot of users opposed because it totally defeats the purpose of having Lock screen pictures or Windows Spotlight enable.

I agree on the acrylic on the lock/signin screen, especially with spotlight. There is a good number of people, insiders and internal, who would like an option to turn it off. Whether that happens or not is probably going to be based on insiders response and feedback.

I saw you posted a FBH link about it in another thread, I'd recommend you get as many upvotes on that as possible. I'll make sure they see it.

Thank you for the reply and the link, but... YIKES - It's AWFUL!

Microsoft, please at least make this toggleable!

YW. I know! whoever thought of it must've been high on something.

Agree, there should allow us to turn it off.

@All - The lock screen is not blurry.  The photo becomes blurry at the log in screen.
