Internet Explorer 9 does not work with any video related site

Problems with IE9

Hi,

Explorer 9 does not work with any video related site. Flash and Silverlight both fail to run videos since I have upgraded to explorer 9 even with the recommended plug-ins. The accelerated graphics option in the tools menu also had to be disabled for it to run at all without crashing on start-up. I’m using windows vista so would greatly appreciate any fixes to these issues as Flash in particular is needed for work presentations. Re-installing explorer 8 does not work either as it claims it is not supported on my operating system, despite using exp8 before!

This is a massive disappointment in view of all the hype and especially the emphasis on the graphics accelerator etc. Even though this is a beta version you would expect to be able to watch a video on a site like youtube or the msn news reels!

Best Regards
