Unable to write *.htm to \appdata\local\temp\low folder in IE9

darrelfiddermon asked on
I have a user who first was unable to print from IE9. IE9 was displaying blank pages with the path pointing to the C:\Users\%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Temp\Low folder. The issue that I am seeing is that the *.htm file that is supposed to be written there is not happening. During my troubleshooting I followed http://support.microsoft.com/kb/973479. I did resolve this issue but noticed that the *.htm was not being written to the "Low" folder. Has anyone seen this before?

Hi Darrel,

1.       Does internet explorer display blank page while accessing web pages or while printing?

2.       Did you check with different browser to check if it’s a browser or printer issue?

3.       Are you able to print from IE9?

Please refer to the methods to troubleshoot Internet explorer. If method 1 fails, please follow method 2 to reset Internet Explorer:

Method 1: Clear temp files and check if it helps

a.       Hit Win + R on the keyboard

b.      Enter %temp% and hit ok

c.       Select all and delete

Method 2: How to reset Internet Explorer settings

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737?wa=wsignin1.0#method1

Note: The Reset Internet Explorer Settings feature might reset security settings or privacy settings that you added to the list of Trusted Sites. The Reset Internet Explorer Settings feature might also reset parental control settings. We recommend that you note these sites before you use the Reset Internet Explorer Settings feature.

Hope this helps. Try the above steps and get back to us for further assistance. We will be happy to help you.
