Question

Q: Toolbars missing from My MSN page

original title: Toolbars

On a Dell 660s running Windows 7, my home page (My MSN) on both Explorer and Firefox does not display a toolbar.  How do I install these?

Answer

A:

Is this what you mean:

IE - open IE, right-click the top window bar (near minimise/maximise/close) and tick <menu bar>

FF - right-click the bar (in line with the tabs, but not in a tab) then tick <menu bar>OR <firefox> <options> tick <menu bar>

Did this solve your problem?

Sorry this didn't help.

Answer

A:

"Did as suggested. Menu opens saying Restore, mimize, maximize, +,-, etc. <menu bar> does not appear."

IE, Thats odd.

At the top right side of an open IE window, you should see the three icons 'home' 'favorites' 'tools' - try right-clicking them.

PS - If that doesn't work, then try pressing the <alt> key which should bring the menu up as well.

PPS - Sorry but the above was for Internet Explorer, did you mean just 'Explorer'? In which case try <organize> <layout> tick <menu bar>. Sorry if I mis-understood the first responses.
