need to convert OE6 WAB file to CSV -don't have OE anymore

Ok, so my old computer crashed - but the good news was that it had online backup.

My new computer runs Win7 and I've downloaded WindowsLiveMail.  They tell me I need to import my address book as a *.csv file.  If I still had OE running on the old machine I know I could create the .csv file - but the old machine is toast.

So, how can I convert a WAB file to csv format??

thanks in advance

According to the ANSWER post in this archived thread, WLMail should be able to import the WAB file.

  • That being said, you can import the WAB file into your Windows Contacts. [1] If you install WLMail afterwards, WLMail will "see" those contacts & automatically include them in its Contacts.

Your best bet would be to begin your own, new thread in the appropriate Windows Live Mail forum for additional assistance => http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/livemail-people

Good luck!
