Question

Q: Can't upgrade to IE7 This thread is locked from future replies

I am trying to upgrade our church's computer to IE7 and have tried just about every idea I've read online. Downloading and installing the IE7 upgrade loses my internet connection. I get the "Cannot display page" error. I have tried it with no firewall and with all add-ons disabled. I tried installing XP - SP3 upgrade today and lost connection with IE6. As soon as I uninstall IE 7 and XP - SP3 - everything works again. The connection diagnostic tells me three ports are blocked due to the firewall - but it's disabled. Ive written down everything I can find (IP address, gateway, etc.) and nothing appears to change after the upgrade - I just can't get back to the internet. Has anyone else dealt with this problem?
