Hey Val,

You may be able to follow the steps by opening Internet Options directly instead of using Internet Explorer to open Internet Options. This can be done by:

  • Press Windows key + R on your keyboard to open the Run command
  • In the Open: field, type inetcpl.cpl
  • Click OK

This will open Internet Options directly without needing Internet Explorer. If the steps provided in the link above don't resolve the problem, try resetting Internet Explorer using inetcpl.cpl. This can be done by:

  • Press Windows key + R on your keyboard to open the Run command
  • In the Open: field, type inetcpl.cpl
  • Click OK
  • Click the Advanced tab
  • Click Reset...
  • Click Reset
  • Click OK

Then try to open Internet Explorer to see if you get the same runtime errors.

Hope that helps.
