message from webpage error: invalid pointer and message from webpage invalid argument

ref: xp pro. ie 8

these messages hang ie. only taskmaster will release the lock - if i opt to return to ie. it will re hang.

i have run updates, move to a 3mo. old restore point and searched with google and bing. google hangs more often than bing

I have a limited vocabulary. i have run CC-Cleaner, tuneup and ms fix it. i have set tools internet options advanced to default -reset-
