How to disable news feed

Recently I started getting a scrolling news feed at the top of my explore window below my tool bars which cuts off the top of the windows. I can't seem to find a place to disable it. Anyone know where I would go to disable?

Hi,

Follow the steps provided below to disable the feeds in Internet Explorer and check if that helps.

To turn off automatic updates for Web Slices and feeds

a)      Open Internet Explorer in the desktop, click the Tools button, and then click Internet options.

b)      Click the Content tab, and then click the Feeds and Web Slices Settings button.

c)       Clear the Automatically check feeds and Web Slices for updates check box, and then click OK.

If you do not want the feeds tab on the toolbar then follow the steps provided below.

a)    Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Internet Explorer.

b)      Click the Tools button, point to Toolbars, and then to uncheck the command bar.
