Black title bar in Internet Explorer 8

Hello,

could not find an XP forum right up, so I place my question here.

I Work with Windows XP Home SP3 and have problems with the title bar (Menu & Favorites) of IE8 that are most always completely black. The buttons and links are there, and I can click them and they work, but the whole field stays black.

Now, sometimes, without any changes, when I start IE8 again, one or both the bars are visible, the next time they are black again.

I did uninstall IE8 completely (Used Revo Uninstaller to make sure the registry items were deleted too) and reinstalled from a new downloaden installer, and IE8 updates. It did not help.

I used the recovery-console to make an "In-place" installation of Windows XP, it didn't help.

This problem appeared the moment IE8 whas installed automaticly by an Auto-Update of Windows.

Does someone recognize this... ?

Many thanks in advance
