website searchbrowsing.com - how do you delete it?

The website searchbrowsing.com has invaded my home page/ web server and has made itself my default home page etc.  I have tried to delete it, but it keeps appearing as my default? A warning box appears at the bottom left screen every few minutes stating
' Browser settings change detected.  A potentially malicious change to your browser settings has been detected and blocked. To stop browser settings protection   Click Here'

when you click another text box appears stating
Are you sure you want to disable browser protection?'

I don't know whether to click this box or not?  What will happen if I do?? Will searchbrowsing.com override everything???

PLEASE HELP  - very frustrated!!

None of this will work. This "searchbrowsing.com" is owned/operated by Search Core Systems. All you have to do is go to add/delete programs, find the Search Core Systems program and delete it. Reset your homepage to whatever you want, restart, and you should be good to go. Microsoft Security Essentials, Symantec, Hijack This or ComboFix can do anything because it's not running as spyware or malware but a legitimate program.

Answer

Hi,

Work through these steps:

1. From Internet Options> General > Browsing History> Delete (next screen) uncheck Preserve Favorites website data then check and delete Temporary Internet Files. Restart the computer.

2. From IE> Tools> Manage add-ons (Show: All add-ons) if search browser or searchbrowsing is listed, disable it. Also look for those under Search Providers.

3. From Control Panel (Classic view) Programs and features, if search browser is listed, uninstall it. If you see other programs you can't easily identify do a web search to see if they're legitimate or should be removed.

4. With the warning that a reset will delete AutoComplete data, such as passwords and you will have to reinstall or re-enable browser add-ons, use the Reset IE Settings button in Internet Options> Advanced.

What a reset of IE settings will do:

5. Run these scans. The first could take two hours or longer. The second won't take that long. Allow enough time.

Hope this helps,
