every time I open a new window it only fills the top half of my monitor i have tried to drag the bottom down have clicked the maximize nothing works what do I do ?

Method 1:

Use the Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) mode

a.     Click Start.

b.    Point to All Programs

c.     Point to Accessories.

d.    Point to System Tools

e.    Click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).


If this resolves the issue, follow these steps to isolate the browser add-on that is causing the issue:

a.     Click Tools, and then click Internet Options.

b.    Click the Programs tab, and then click Manage add-ons.

c.     Click an add-on in the Name list, and then click Disable.

d.    Repeat step 3 until you identify the add-on that is causing the issue.


Method 2:

I would suggest you to follow these steps and check if it helps.

a.     Right click on Internet Explorer icon.

b.    Click on Properties.

c.     Under the Shortcut tab, click on the drop down next to Run.

d.    In the drop down options see that Normal Window or Maximized is selected.

e.    Click OK.

f.      Now try to open Internet explorer and check if the issue persists.


Method 3:

I would also suggest you to reset the Internet Explorer settings and check the issue

If you are still facing issues, then try to create a new user account and check if the issue persists.
