Thanks for telling me how to optimize IE8. But, my question was how to avoid the "Beauty of the Web" garbage screen, and simply let me go to MSN.com like I always did. Do you have an answer to the problem MicroSoft created?
I did load the beta IE9 and realized it was definitely not something with any value for me. I did uninstall IE9-beta, but continue to be plagued by the worthless piece of garbage called "Beauty of the Web."

What answer? All you show is my questions. The procedure to optimize IE8 doesn't have anything to do with getting rid of that terrible "Beauty of the Web" garbage Microsoft keeps shoving at me.

Until then, I clicked on TOOLS, then INTERNET OPTIONS, then SECURITY, and identified "Beauty of the Web" as a RESTRICTED SITE. Maybe it will stop that lousy screen from showing up every time I sign out of Hotmail.
