If the online install of the Flash Player is giving you problems, you might
try manually uninstalling and then manually installing the Player.

Download the following two files and save them to your Desktop:

Flash Player Uninstaller
Flash Player Installer

1.  Disconnect from the Internet and temporarily disable any Real-Time
Secruity Application(s) running in the background on your machine.
2.  Run the Uninstaller file from the Desktop to completely remove the Flash
Player from your System.
3.  Run the Installer file from the Desktop to reinstall the latest version
of the Flash Player.

Test the results.

Good luck,

Answer

Uninstall Flash by way of the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller, then download and install a fresh copy only from Adobe.

I attach a link for the Uninstaller.
