Can I downgrade IE 11 to an older version of IE?

There are sites that will not function/do not recognize this version and I replaced my iPad with the Surface Pro 2 so I could use them!!!

Hi Paul,

Internet Explorer 11 is the default web browser on Windows 8.1, we cannot downgrade to an earlier version of Internet Explorer.

Sometimes, a website you're visiting doesn't look like you expect it to. Images might not appear, menus might be out of place, and text could be jumbled together. These can be caused by a compatibility problem between Internet Explorer and the site you're on. When a site is incompatible with Internet Explorer, you'll see the Compatibility View button in the address bar in the desktop browser. By turning on Compatibility View, you can help fix display problems on sites.
