Internet Explorer 11 not responding - Windows 10

Hi

I have windows 10, when I open Internet Explorer it is a white screen while my cursor is loading. I am not able to click or open anything while it is up. Internet Explorer will say (not responding) in the top left corner, it will then close automatically shortly. I do not receive an error message or anything. If I search Internet Properties using the start menu, in the Advanced tab the Reset button is missing as you can see from the picture below. If I search Trouble Shooting then click View All, Internet Explorer is missing which you can see also from the picture as well. Using CCleaning to check my browser addons, no addons are listed for Internet Explorer. Basically Internet Explorer does not work.

Hi Kat,

Corrupted Internet Explorer settings are one of the possible reasons why this issue is happening. We recommend removing Internet Explorer form the Windows 10, then add it again. Follow the steps below:

  1. Open Control Panel.
  2. Click Programs and Features.
  3. Click Turn Windows features on or off in the left pane.
  4. Clear the Internet Explorer 11 option.
  5. Click OK, then Yes to confirm.
  6. Click Restart now to remove the web browser.
  7. To re-add Internet Explorer, repeat steps 1 to 3.
  8. Select Internet Explorer 11 option.
  9. Click OK, then Yes to confirm.
  10. Click Restart now.

Keep us in the loop with the result.
