Internet Explorer 11 is an integral part of the Windows 8.1 operating system and cannot be replaced with an earlier Internet Explorer version (e.g. IE10, IE9). If you have a website that will only work on IE 9 or 10, there are only two things you can do........
o Add the website to the Compatibility View Listing.
Open Internet Explorer on the Desktop
Select "Compatibility View Settings"
Enter the website address into the box, and click "Add"
UNCKECK both boxes at the bottom of the window
o Open the website using Internet Explorer emulation mode.
Go to the site using the Desktop Internet Explorer.
Select "F12 Developer Tools"
scroll down to "Emulation"
Click the down arrow in the "User Agent String" box and select IE10, IE 9, etc.
The screen should immediately change, since it is now emulating IE10
