How do I open multiple tabs (from a bookmarked group) at once in IE11?

I'd like to be able to open a group of saved tabs at once using IE11 on Surface Pro 2 but haven't been able to figure this out. Thanks in advance!

Hi Ken,

I see that this is your first post in this forum, welcome to the Microsoft Community.

To save a group of tabs to be able to open this group of tabs easily, you need to add them to your favorites. Open the desktop Internet Explorer and follow these steps:

a)      Open the tabs that you want to save as a group.

b)      Click on the favorites icon (star icon) on the top right of Internet Explorer.

c)       Now, click on the down arrow near the ‘Add to favorites button’.

d)      In the drop down list, select ‘Add current tabs to favorites’.

e)      Add a name to the tab group and save the tab group.

f)       Now, you will see the tab group folder in your favorites list.

g)      Just click on arrow mark (-->) near the folder to open the tab group.

Hope you find this helpful. Feel free to get back to us for any other Windows related queries; we’d be happy to help.

Cheers,
Ben.

Hi

Its on the right of the dropdown favorites list when you hover your mouse over the folder.

If the folder is on the Favorites bar, you can select the folder then select Open in tabs. Alternatively, you can hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard then select the folder.

The folder opens all the sites tabs but I do not see a way to launch them all at once.  Below it was just a right click and all my sites would open.  Now is the only ways to do that is to click on each one?

You have to do this in the Favorites pane (the one you access from the star icon on the upper right of the screen), NOT the Favorites menu.  It took me awhile to figure this out, and it looks like you are probably trying to open all the tabs from the menu, not the pane.
