type error: unable to get property 'error code' of undefined or null reference

how do I get my computer fixed so I don't get this error and can move on.  thanks.

1)      When exactly you get this error message?

2)      Are you using Desktop version of Internet Explorer or Modern UI version?

3)      Do you remember making any changes prior to this issue?

 

I would suggest you to perform the methods given below and check if the issue persists.

 

Method 1: Run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter and check.

 

a)      Press Windows key + W to search Settings.

b)      Type “Troubleshoot” without quotes and click on Troubleshooting.

c)      In the new windows click View all on the left pane.

d)      In the list of options, click on Internet Explorer Performance.

e)      Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions.

 

Method 2: Verify that Active Scripting, ActiveX, and Java are not being blocked by Internet Explorer

 

a) Start Internet Explorer.

b) On the Tools menu, click Internet Options. If you can't see the Tools menu, press Alt to display the menus.

c) In the Internet Options dialog box, click the Security tab.

d) Click Default Level.

e) Click OK.

 

Note ActiveX controls and Java programs are turned off in the High security level in Internet Explorer.

 

Method 3: Disable Script Debugging

 

a) On the Tools menu, click Internet Options. If you can't see the Tools menu, press Alt to display the menus.

b) On the Advanced tab, click to clear the Display a notification about every script error box, and then click OK.
