I know that Flash will be supported on IE 10 in many popular websites. Since this Flash is integrated into IE code not plugin, will both desktop and metro styled IE get this flash integration in Windows RTor just x86 machine only?
Information on this topic seems deliberately vague as far as I can tell.
As I understand it, the Metro or Windows RT version of IE does not support plugins and so does not support Flash. The question therefore becomes, is there a desktop version of IE 10 available on the Windows RT platform? If so this could support Flash.
I donot know if this is the latest list;
http://cvlist.ie.microsoft.com/ie10/201206/ieCompatViewList.xml this is a CV list for IE and AFAIK this is pushed to RT by Windows Update. If the site you are browsing is on the list it should play flash content. If I had a Windows RT device I would examine
deeply, so it would be better to wait for detailed official document from Microsoft. By the way as its stated in
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ie/jj193557(v=vs.85).aspx just for one domain CV list can be override in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Flash\DebugDomain
key. Can you test for the site you cannot use flash ?
