Problems with Enhanced Protected Mode and feeds?

Hi,

when turning on Enhanced Protected Mode (EPM) in IE (in Windows 8 Release Preview), feeds often do not open anymore, like this: http://screencast.com/t/uU83URpGz7

If I disabled IE's EPM, they work always fine. I've tried the same on my laptop (that one is still on consumer preview) and it's the same situation.

On a related note, it's a bit of an awkward experience that feeds are not synchronized with your Microsoft account, but favorites are.

Regards,

Chris

Hi,

Try to open Internet Explorer 10 in no add-ons mode and check if you’re able to load the feeds.

a)    Press the ‘Windows+ R’ key on the keyboard.

b)    In the Run window type ‘iexplore –extoff’ and click ‘OK’.

c)    Now try to open the feeds to check if you’re able to load it.

I'll try that, but I doubt it changes anything. Aside from the built-in Flash Player, I do not have any add-ons (especially no persistent ones) enabled. Furthermore, this only occurs in EPM - in which incompatible add-ons like Silverlight or Windows Media Player won't be loaded in the first place.

As soon as I disable EPM, this works fine. I should also note that the error only occurs sometimes, but often enough to be called reproducible.

Hm, after using EPM somewhat more: There seem to be huge copy & paste issues, in that clipboard access with EPM on is simply not working for me. I can't paste in for example this input box, but I can do so in the address bar, which runs outside of the isolation. The inverse is true, too: If I copy something from an EPM'd renderer process, I cannot paste it in an outside process.

Yes I would be happy to do that, I'm also joined in the Connect program, but I receive a permission error every time I click that link.
